About Yamunotri Dham

Yamunotri is the first shrine in the traditional Char Dham clockwise sequence. Located at 3,291 meters, it is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and features natural thermal springs like Surya Kund where raw rice is cooked in holy hot water as Prasad.

How to Reach Yamunotri Dham

Drive from Haridwar/Dehradun to Barkot/Janki Chatti (215 km). From Janki Chatti, a 6 km paved trek leads directly to the Yamunotri temple.
